3 Months in!

It's hard to believe we're already 3 months in with International Student Ministry Canada (www.ismc.ca) in Kamloops, BC!  I'm hoping to keep you connected with our ministry to international students on the campuses of Thompson Rivers University (www.tru.ca) and Sprott Shaw College (ESL) here in Kamloops.  God has brought about 1100 internationals from 70 different nations to our doorstep so we can build bridges of friendship through Canadian cultural experiences, home hosting, campus club events, and conversational English practice.  We've many new friends, tried all kinds of new foods, and learned so much about other cultures as we have hosted students from Zambia, Zimbabwe, China, Japan, Korea, and Russia.  We've also had a great time networking with the churches of Kamloops as we pull together many key volunteers to partner with us to provide meals, lead Bible studies, lead worship, host students for a meal, pick-up students at the airport or move them into apts or homes.  I hope you'll join us on the journey of bringing the love of Christ to the world God is bringing to our doorstep.  I'll try to keep you posted.
